What is a Chantepleure?
The Chantepleure is first and foremost a historical object, fashioned for watering small crops. The artisan potter creates a terracotta sphere with small holes in the bottom to release the water.
Made exclusively from terracotta, it delivers several delicate streams of water to water your seedlings and other fragile young shoots.

Instructions for use:
1/ Immerse it in a small supply of water to fill it up (you'll hear it sing as the water seeps in, pushing the air bubbles upwards)
2/ Plug the opening with your thumb to hold back the water
3/ Stand over your plant and when you release the opening with your thumb, the water will flow out through the perforated bottom. (As it passes through the pierced bottom, the weatherstrip will release a rain song)
