A few words about the author? Jean-Paul Collaert trained as an agricultural engineer and works as a journalist for the Gazette des jardins. Before finding his calling, he started out as a market gardener. After working for L'Ami des jardins and Rustica Hebdo, he ended his career as editor-in-chief of Jardins de France, the magazine of the Société nationale d'horticulture de France. He is also the author of numerous best-selling books and president of the Association Les Jardins d'Aujourd'hui.
