Since its creation in 2004, Vers la Terre has been committed to making natural solutions for reducing household waste into compost available to all, even in cities without gardens! So it was only logical that we should sooner or later join the ranks of the Zero Waste France association! Explanations:

ZERO WASTE: ZERO WASTE FOR EVERYONE

Zero Waste France, an environmental protection association, has been campaigning for the reduction and more sustainable management of waste for 20 years now.

"The best waste is that which we don't produce", that which we don't have to incinerate or bury, thus generating pollution of the soil, air and oceans. To this end, the association proposes a zero-waste, zero-waste approach to enable everyone to reduce their waste production and make better use of the waste they do produce.

VERS LA TERRE A LOCAL ZERO WASTE PLAYER

Vers la Terre was born some fifteen years ago from the discovery of the virtues of compost worms during a trip to Australia. Since then, the founders of this small local company based in Pézenas have continued to promote vermicomposting as a natural solution for turning organic waste into compost and worm juice.

Agnès and Jean-Paul, the pioneers, wanted a solution that would be easy to use, even in the city without a garden, and economically accessible to all.

Today, the City Worms is the benchmark in urban vermicomposting, and has already won over a large number of enthusiasts, both private individuals and local authorities. This success can be explained by the passion of a team that has innovated around a simple idea with zero global impact, since the City Worms are manufactured locally and we are also a compost worm farm! A real plus for our carbon footprint:)

Vers la Terre is therefore proud to be carrying the values of zero waste and anti-waste high, and to be working alongside the other members of Zero Waste France to create a more pleasant world for tomorrow!
