We often tell you about Team Vers La Terre. We tell you about our adventures on social networks, but we've never given you the chance to get to know us.

So, in just 3 short questions, you'll have the chance to find out all about us. As you'll see, some of us are more talkative than others?

Jean-Paul, our vers-ificateur guru

1 - What is your job at VLT?

I'm a vermiculture technician and I'm also in charge of Research and Development and customer relations.

2 - Why did you choose VLT?

I met Jean-Paul 10 years ago and was immediately hooked: the approach, the people who worked there... I stopped my contract until two years ago when I rejoined the company. Jean Paul had asked me to join and I was keen to get back to the familiar environment I was in ten years ago.

3 - What have you personally done at home to reduce waste or manage bio-waste?

In my day-to-day life, I'm gradually working towards zero waste. At the same time, two years ago I met Cécile Couraud, initiator of the "Le Re'n'Art" project (Ressourcerie ' Resto ' Bistrot), which we have been wisely implementing for the past two years. Véronique

1 - What is your job at VLT?

I work as a secretarial assistant.

2 - Why did you choose VLT?

First of all, because I was looking for a job. I've known the company and its manager for several years, and I've been a partner in a number of events as secretary of the association C.L.A.C (Centre Local d'Art Contemporain). I'd also bought a worm compost bin. But I was also motivated by the presence of my daughter Océane, who works there. So the little earthworms are a bit part of my daily life. In a few days and for one day, I'll be helping the vermicomposter prepare the bags so that they travel as smoothly as possible. I hope I'll have the opportunity to get a little closer to them by preparing the paloxes, learning how to feed them properly, looking after the nursery etc..

3 - What have you personally done at home to reduce waste or manage bio-waste?

I feed my daughter's vermicomposter, who's staying with me for a few months. On her advice, I collect cardboard packaging, which I mix with green waste to enrich my vegetable garden over the winter. This makes me want to buy another one, the other having been offered to friends living in Paris.

2 - Why did you choose VLT?

The school environment no longer suited me, and I needed to learn in the "deep end". I met VLT during my internship at the end of my first year of BTS. I already had some notions that were useful to VLT, the company was expanding rapidly and I liked the concept

3 - What have you personally implemented at home to reduce waste or manage bio-waste?

- City Worms in the kitchen

- Reusable wipes

- Washable kitchen roll

I make my own liniment and detergent. The children use reusable water bottles for applesauce and water. I buy in bulk.

3 - What have you personally done at home to reduce waste or manage bio-waste?

I teach my children every day about waste management and environmental protection. We often organize beach clean-up outings together. Whenever possible, I shop in small local stores, thus avoiding over-packaging.
