Our worm composters are specially designed and produced to be placed indoors without any problems!

Guaranteed odor-, leak- and insect-free, the City Worms and Worm Café are ideal for interiors sheltered from the vagaries of nature.

However, if you're short of space indoors, the vermicomposter can also be placed outside on a terrace, balcony or garden. But always well protected!

Points to watch:

Choose the right place for your vermicomposter. We advise you to keep it out of direct sunlight, away from the wind, and to keep an eye on temperatures.

Beware of extreme temperatures: below 10°C, the system slows down. Below 15°C the worms stop reproducing, between 0°C and 5°C they go into hibernation, and below 0°C... we fear the worst.

Cellars and garages are ideal places for your vermicomposter, as temperature variations are not too abrupt. Once acclimatized, your worms will continue to work all winter long.

If it rains, make sure your vermicomposter doesn't get wet, otherwise you risk your worms drowning..

Tips for a competitive shelter:

If you're going to place your vermicomposter outside, you'll need to build it a shelter for the winter?

You can build him a warm little corner with just a few planks of wood and a survival blanket!
